UX300+ best partners

This page shows the partners each pokemon used in the stages from UX300 onwards. Each pokemon has its own table (sorted alphabetically), in which you can see the most common team members used together with it. In bracket next to the name there is the number of stages the pokemon has been used, for quick reference.

UX300+ team members

A few annotations:

  • Deoxys-A is used a lot just because it was my strongest neutral TC until I levelled up Silvally
  • Delphox is missing, it should replace either Ho-Oh (when used as single combo booster) or Typhlosion (when I used Ho-Oh+Typhlosion for the raw attack power alone; dual Pyre with Ninetales is lit!
  • In the same vein, Bellossom is extremely underused. It would replace quite a few appearances of Shaymin: worse activation rates but the payoff is huge for itemless tries. Unfortunately, I only farmed Paralyze+ on the second event rotation, so I could not use it much.
  • Another important pokemon that is underrepresented is Hoopa-U, since it sits at the end of the rotation, I could not farm it until then.
  • Mega Pinsir was available later, so it…

Guide for perfectionists who are about to cap Skill Swappers

I might be the only one and this guide might only serve to help myself. In order to max all the Pokémon's abilities you need a total of 358 , and 22 more to swap back the ones whose innate ability is better than the swapped one. This number increases if you swap a Pokémon before it reaches SL5. Here's a list of all swappable Pokémon ordered by total skill points needed for SL5. Note: the "Pokémon" columns won't show Pokémon who have the abilities in the "Abilities" columns as their swapped abilities unless that pokémon has multiple SS options or the swapped ability is worse than the innate one.

Enhancements per event cycle

These are the numbers of each enhancement you can get per 24-week cycle (assuming you get everything from Escalation Battles).

  • 45 (assuming none from competitions, start-of-month challenges and once-a-days)
131 (assuming none from competitions, mid-month challenges, Cosmoem and special challenges and counting the ones from check-in)
  • Skill points: 502 (assuming no PSB farming, none from survival mode and start-of-month and mid-month challenges, counting the ones from check-in and assuming only 1 from Eevee every time)
19 (assuming none from mid-month challenges)

Survival Mode extra investments guide

Extra investments are about investing on Pokémon that aren't in our team but appear in other stages as 5th support, default 4th suppport, in the starting board/skyfall or disrupted. This might not be the best guide about this. Feel free to make your own if you don't like this one.

Note: Some Pokémon can be in several ranks depending on the team.

  • 1 S Rank
  • 2 A Rank
  • 3 B Rank
  • 4 C Rank
  • 5 D Rank
  • 6 F Rank

Those are the ones that will help the most if you invest on them.

Those will help a lot if invested, as they appear in some boss stages or the last 3 stages before .

Those appear in very hard stages, or will help a lot in some stages which you might get or not.

Those appear as 5th support in easy stages or appear in the starting board and are very likely to be m…

Level Up efficiency guide

  1. Check how many you have (count unclaimed ones from trainer rank as well).
  2. If you have the number of stated in the row or lower, and one of those Pokémon is at the stated level in "current level", give it one. For each Pokémon on the row already at the level stated in "next level" or higher, substract one from the cumulative. If none of those Pokémon is at the stated level in "current level" yet, read the next row, and repeat.
  3. After reading two rows where the cumulative is higher than your amount of , level up the Pokemon with Exp boosters, Victini and Ampharos grinding.
  4. In case you have 99 (don't count unclaimed ones from trainer rank this time), and you're about to get another one, level up a Pokémon as much as possible with Exp boosters a…

Guide to Editing on the Wikia

I thought I should eventually write up some guide on how to add and edit pages to the Wikia.

This Wikia is strange in that articles are not really articles, they just have some infoboxes. That's just the way it started out, and when I came here I had zero idea how this stuff worked. So I just built on that. In a way I will be explaining my site designs.

I will try to make this guide comprehensive but newbie-friendly. Hope it goes well!

  • Simplified dates are in US format, which is mm/dd/yyyy.
  • Daily reset is usually at UTC 06:00. Assume that this is 00:00. This means date durations should not include the day after. For example, a two week duration should only include 14 days inclusive (08/01/17 to 08/14/17). The game event notes include the day a…

Some Improvements

I made some cool changes :)

- ThumbiconCovered template is added, which allows a Barrier or Black Cloud to cover the icon underneath, just set the parameters "barrier" or "blackcloud" to true, and it'll work! This feature is separated from Thumbicon template because it drastically increases post-expand include size (a parser limit thing), so it should only be used when needed (some pages were broken before because they had lots of Boards and Disruption templates, which use up to 36 Thumbicon templates at a time, and the page exceeded the limit)

- Improved the parser limit thing, so the pages with too much content aren't broken anymore, but not enough for me to stop worrying about it being broken again in the future :(

- Some Pokemon including…

another revamp to the system

I had this idea for a while, and finally got around to implementing it.

It started with the tooltips. They're cool and all, but I had to create tooltips for every single Pokémon in the game. All ~740 of them. Of course, nobody ain't got time for dat, so I had only done around 200-300? (just a rough estimate) of them up until now.

Some time ago (during Winter break maybe?) I had another idea where I discovered and took advantage of the Variables wiki extension. I could create pages for each Pokémon, each containing all their data. This of course can then be used in my other templates, so it would be useful not just for the Tooltips. And that's cool and all... but I would have to create ~740 pages again! Not to mention that every time there's …

Tooltips and Skills

OKAY so I finally got tooltips to work. Just hover over any thumbicon and there should be a tooltip showing quick info about that Pokemon or Item (This probably won't work well for Mobile, sorry about that). By the way, each pokemon/item needs its own tooltip, so I will need to type them up. They don't take too long though. I got somewhere between 50 and 100 done so far (I tried to do the most important ones first).

Also, each Skill has its own page now, showing pretty detailed info about them. Go ahead and check them out :)

More restructuring

Remember what I said about a huge disadvantage of using a wikia? I lied, I'm just bad. I figured out a better way to do things, which I should have already figured out long ago... whatever, good experience for me. But I still need to re-input data for a lot of the stages.

Another thing I changed was to use Thumbicons more and to remove the unnecessary text. I think it looks funner and more interesting that way, and reduces text clutter. If images won't load or are blocked, the alternate text SHOULD show properly, but I am not sure of this.

Yet another thing is that the Pokemon infobox's title bar is now colored according to the Pokemon's type, and the Stage infobox's title bar is colored according to the location or Special Stage type. Prett…

RMLs update

That was one hell of an update to the game!

Raise Max Levels and Skill Swappers seem to be much more prevelant and important, and people are discussing them a lot, so I added relevant data to the Pokemon templates, including max attack power before RMLs, available RMLs, and max attack power after RMLs. I've also added two more columns to the Pokemon list: one for RMLs and one for SSs.

All the Pokemon who have RMLs or SSs already have their data updated on the wikia!

One more thing I'm trying out is a new format for Event Stages, where rewards and attempt costs are moved into event durations, and event durations will have a tabber for all the events on that stage. Everything else will be the same. This is for better readability, since it was k…

Reupdating stages

One very huge disadvantage of using a Wikia instead of a normal website (for Pokemon Shuffle, at least) is that I can't update all the stages at once; I need to update them one by one, which is not really an easy and quick task considering there's about 300 stages on the Wikia right now. And this is something I gotta do a lot since I keep adding in new features or data.

Well, I started re-updating, since it's about time. Last time, if I remember correctly, I added Default Pokemon, exp, and differences between 3DS and Mobile data. There are several things I added in since I last went through all the stages, including BoardLayouts, Thumbicons, and Rank Requirements. The newest feature I'm adding in is links to previous and next stages, so tha…

Updating Blau Salon

Since only the basic info is accurate (disruption info on the pastebin is pretty much unreliable right now), I can't update/create the pages for those stages. Also, I am not even past Roseus Center in the game... I can create the pages for Violeta Palace though, I think. Sorry guys!
