A Status Effect is an effect that can be imposed on a target Pokémon during a stage, usually by triggering a Skill. They can either increase damage (sometimes by a specific Pokémon type) or prevent the target from disrupting, if the stage has disruptions (the countdown, if any, will also be frozen). Certain types of Pokémon are immune to certain status effects, so skills that inflict those status effects won't be able to trigger.
A Disruption Delay inflicts Disrupted and wears off after the number of Moves or Seconds available reaches half or below.
