A Type-restricted Stage only allows certain Support Pokémon into the stage.
Type-restricted Stages are stages in which a the player can only bring certain types of Support Pokémon on his/her team. This feature was first used on a Competitive Stage in the 3DS v1.4.16 and Mobile v1.10.11 updates.
Attempting to bring Support Pokémon that are not allowed in the stage will show a message when trying to enter the stage.
Type-restricted Stages:
- Competitive Stage: Mega Gyarados (Shiny) - Electric, Normal
